If a schedule (or stand-by schedule) for remote alarm is required, it can easily be realized with ProWin®. |
The procedure involves the following steps:
- Setting all recipients/recipient groups in PageControl.
- Setting a time curve in ProWin®
- Setting a release PV (internal binary PV) in ProWin®
- Setting a list of recipient in ProWin®
- Setting an alarm and limit value in ProWin®
|
Example: You define a recipient for normal stand-by service in PageControl and a second one for week-end stand-by service. Next, set the schedule as a time curve in ProWin®. |
Therefore, an internal PV (in this example Zeitplan.bi000), to which the time curve has been assigned, becomes:
Monday till Friday from 0700 a.m. till 0600 p.m. : Value 0, beyond that period on weekdays: Value 1 Saturday 0000 a.m. till Monday 0700 a.m.: Value 2
In this configuration, a remote alarm is processed off-time and a special stand-by service is called on week-ends.
Definition of release PV |
Define an internal Binary PV and assign the time curve by selecting Next >> from the menu.
Option: You are free to assign a set of texts (eg.: disabled, stand-by, week-end stand-by). When you log status messages, the remote control status appends in the operating log as well. Next you configure the PageControl recipient list. Assign the normal stand-by service to Index #1 and the weekend stand-by service to Index #2.
Next, you set an alarm and a limit value and assign the recipient group for remote alarm and the release PV in the menu "More settings". |
The release PV defines which recipient in the list is called.
In the case of PV value being equal to 1, the recipient assigned to Index 01 (stand-by) is called, if the value = 2, the recipient with Index 02 (week-end stand-by) is called. If the PV´s value = 0, there will be no remote alarm. |
